Motor City Youth Theatre Audition Notices

WALT DISNEY’S JUNIOR PRODUCTION OF
ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Auditions: 2:00 PM Sunday, November 9, 2008

First rehearsal is November.16 with a full cast read-thru of the script.

Choose 11:00 Saturdays or 1:00 Sundays for your rehearsals (some exceptions are noted on the audition sheet)
If unforeseen conflicts arise, it may be possible to attend the alternating day (Sat or Sunday) if we have someone to fill in for major roles.

Production is set for March 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, 15, 2009.

Double casting is an option to insure participation for all children.
All cast members will perform in all six shows as was done in Brundibar.

Participation fee: $150, includes script, costumes and approximately 52 hours of supervised training ($140 for MCYT members).
Siblings may share one script and pay $10 less per additional child.

An optional monthly payment plan will be offered. Please see Nancy for a form.

ACTING (Scene Study, Character Development, Improvisation for Stage)
Grades K-2 9:00-9:55 AM
Grades 3-5 10:00-10:55 AM
Grades 6-up 11:00-11:55 AM

MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE BASICS (learn dance combinations and basic dance skills)
Beginner-Intermediate (all ages-adult) 12:00 Noon-12:55
Advanced (all ages-adult) 1:00-1:55 PM
Dancers might be switched from one level to the other if necessary
